Public + Private Art Commissions

Sandra Fettingis creates site-specific murals and sculptural installations defined by geometric, line-based compositions and an intentional use of negative space, thoughtfully integrated with architecture and landscape. Each work is developed in unique response to its site—enhancing spatial experience while fostering connection, balance, and a sense of place.

She collaborates with architects, designers, project teams, municipalities, institutions, and private clients on projects across the U.S. and internationally.

Approach
Sandra’s approach begins with a deep sensitivity to place. Each project is guided by the architecture, landscape, and intended experience of the site—ensuring the work feels inherent rather than applied.

Through geometric, line-based compositions and an intentional use of negative space, she develops visual systems that balance structure and openness. Working collaboratively with architects, designers, and clients, each project is refined from concept through installation to create a cohesive and integrated presence within the built environment.
