Sandra Fettingis is a Denver-based public artist creating timeless, site-specific murals and sculptural installations defined by geometric, line-based compositions and an intentional use of negative space. Her work is thoughtfully integrated with architecture and landscape, bringing a sense of rhythm, balance, and ease to public and private environments.
Statement
Working at the intersection of art, architecture, and nature, Sandra’s practice is guided by a deep sensitivity to place. Each composition responds to its environment—balancing structure and openness through rhythmic linework and layered form to create spaces that feel both dynamic and at ease.
Approach
Sandra collaborates closely with architects, designers, and clients to create integrated works that feel inherent to their environment. Each project is developed from concept through installation with careful attention to material, scale, and context—resulting in work that enhances the space while maintaining a refined, cohesive presence.
